story |
BRUNSWICK, VICTORIA: The Mooks have pressed ahead with plans to record album version 3.5 despite being beset by criminals and the fickle hand of fate. "Some clown jemmied the back door and nicked me clobber", explained a clearly disraught UMOOKU. "Death to those who would pilfer from The Mooks", he added later over a cold tinny. Missing items include stock footage for planned Renaldo and Claraesque rock docco 'Shaggers Back' and an extremely rare VHS copy of 'Hey Mook live at the Polish Club 2001'. In an unrelated but equally disturbing story The Blues were robbed by the umpire in their clash with The Demons at the suburban footy ground formerly known as Princes Park. 'I thought I would get some joy today', said a sad supporter, 'but once again I've been let down'. |
